There are exciting things happening in Jesus name around the world through our support of international missions. But these are interesting and amazing days when we have the experience of people from around the world actually moving into our local neighbourhoods.

Gospel Multiplications Through Church Planting In Canada And The Middle East
Bechara Karkafi, FEB Central (The Chapel)

Born in Lebanon and now serving in Canada, Bechara Karkafi brings a unique perspective on how the gospel advances across cultures. In this session, he will share stories of church planting among diverse communities in Canada, including new immigrants, and how leaders are being equipped to multiply gospel impact. He will also highlight partnerships in the Middle East, where new churches are growing despite significant pressure and cost. Tim Whatley, Ethnos Canada

Tim Whatley, President and Executive Director of Ethnos Canada, has spent years mobilizing and equipping missionaries to serve among First Nations and Inuit communities. In this breakout, he will share firsthand stories of how the gospel is taking root in places where it has been slow to spread, and how Indigenous believers are being equipped to lead and plant churches within their own cultures. Come hear how gospel multiplication is bringing hope, transformation, and local leadership development in Canada’s North and discover how you can play a meaningful role in helping the gospel be clearly heard among these communities.ReForma: Gospel Multiplication Of National Christian Leaders Around The World

ReForma is a global ministry dedicated to equipping national Christian leaders to plant and grow healthy, gospel-centered churches in their own countries. By training local leaders rather than relying solely on foreign missionaries, ReForma empowers the gospel to multiply rapidly and sustainably, even in places where access is limited or persecution is high. Richard Flemming brings firsthand experience and inspiring stories of how God is raising up leaders around the world to reach their own people for Christ. Come hear this session to see how the gospel is advancing globally and discover how you can be part of this exciting movement of multiplication.
Speaker Bios:
Dr. Charles W. Price is an English-born Christian leader and Bible teacher with a global ministry. He served as Lead Pastor of The Peoples Church in Toronto from 2001–2016, where the congregation grew to over 4,000 weekly attendees. A former Principal of Capernwray Hall in England, he has preached in more than 100 countries, authored several books, and hosted the “Living Truth” TV program broadcast worldwide. Today, he continues an active international teaching and speaking ministry.
Bechara Karkafi is a Lebanese-born pastor and missionary serving as Church Planting Director with FEB Central in Canada. He oversees and equips new church-planting efforts across the region and partners with Fellowship International in the Middle East and North Africa.
Tim Whatley is the Executive Director of Ethnos Canada, where he leads and supports mission leaders and church-planting work. Raised in Indonesia as a missionary kid, he later served among the Moi people in Asia-Pacific, helping pioneer first contact ministry there. Since 2010 he has directed Ethnos’s leadership in North America, serves on the International Ethnos board, and travels widely to support global missions.
Richard Flemming is a long-time missionary with Fellowship International. Together with his wife Brenda, Richard has spent many years church planting and training leaders in the Democratic Republic of Congo and later serving in France. Now based in Canada, he continues to travel widely, especially to Africa, coaching pastors, supporting national churches, and helping strengthen indigenous mission efforts.
